Mission Trips
- Past
- January 2006: 2 members of the Seminole church of Christ came to get to know Giovanni, who they sponsor, and learn about the mission work.
- June 2-10, 2006: 15 members of the Edmond church of Christ came to help us complete our new church building and hold VBS for over 70 children.
- January 2006: 2 members of the Seminole church of Christ came to get to know Giovanni, who they sponsor, and learn about the mission work.
- Future
- August 4-11, 2006: In our next mission trip, three members of the church in Seminole will be holding singing seminars, and doing building projects.
- Each year during the 1st first week of June we plan a week long mission trip from Edmond, Oklahoma with the Edmond Church of Christ. If you would like more information about these annual mission trips please contact us.
Adopt a Child
In this program, you choose a child of the congregation to support through regular monthly donations. The funds will be used for school needs, food, clothes, medicine, vitamins, etc. In Nicaragua, students must pay for uniforms, school supplies, text books, regular exams, and more. Once a student reaches high school, they must also pay a monthly fee to attend classes. When you decide to sponsor a child, we will send you a picture and a brief biography. You can choose your level of support based on age:
- 0-5 (not in school): $10/month
- Elementary school age: $20/month
- High school: $30/month
- College: $40-50 (depending on your ability)
Donation Opportunities
You may donate to our general mission fund, and the money will be used towards accomplishing one of our many goals. Or, if you have a goal that is of your specific interest, please include a letter with your check explaining your desired use of the donation (Ex: evangelism, edification, food, medicine, mission trip aid, etc.)
